Party Wall etc. Act

There are two types of shared construction on boundaries included in the Act; Party Structures and Party Fence Walls.

1)

Party Structure

Any construction separating buildings or parts of buildings in different ownership.
These include Party Walls and Party Floors.

2)

Party Fence Wall

A wall, built on the boundary between two properties, in masonry.
It excludes timber, or precast concrete, or wire and metal fences, and hedges.
